It’s a little depressing not to see any of the discount airlines like JetBlue, Spirit or Frontier anywhere on the most popular list. Makes you wonder if anyone’s actually interested in saving money anymore?
One section that I felt was a little false was the best and worst times to book information. Aside from holidays, I just don’t believe there’s really an ideal time to book. With all the deal finding tools online (like Uptourist’s Flight Rate Comparison Tool), I just don’t buy that you have to book flights well in advance like all these experts try to convince us we need to. Airlines have to be competitive with each other. Competition between these companies is a good thing for all travelers!
